Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has 264 Electoral College votes, six short of the 270 needed to become US President, and Donald Trump has 214, according to media tally. Projected election results in states including Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina and Pennsylvania are yet to be declared. Earlier, Biden had tweeted, "I'm confident that we'll emerge victorious."
