Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail project progressed after two firms- Alstom Transport-Larsen & Toubro JV and DRA Infracon-Siemens JV submitted bids for the signalling and telecommunication system contract Package S-1. The project aims at designing, manufacturing, supplying, installing, and providing Comprehensive Maintenance of the Signalling and Train Control System on the MAHSR Bullet Train.
