Big hospitals in Pune start reserving more beds as COVID-19 cases surge

Big city hospitals in Pune have begun reserving more beds for COVID-19 patients amid rise in cases. Noble Hospital Executive Director Dr HK Sale said 86 beds had been reserved, of which 64 are occupied, The Indian Express reported. Meanwhile, KEM Chief Intensivist Dr Pradeep D'Costa said that they witnessed a four-fold rise in COVID-19 cases in last few days.
