NASA's Perseverance rover, which is currently probing Mars, has captured a large sunspot. As Mars is currently "orbiting over...far side of the Sun," the rover can see "approaching sunspots more than a week before we do," as per SpaceWeather.com. The sunspot was spotted crossing the solar disk between August 17-20 and is expected to point towards Earth "later this week".
