Big Tech companies are nearing a hiring pause in India amid macroeconomic headwinds and global layoffs, Economic Times reported. Meta Platforms, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Netflix and Google saw a 90% decline in active job postings in the country in 2023 compared with the previous year, the report said. Further, current active hiring by these companies is down by over 98%.
