Omicron COVID-19 variant cases in India jumped by 156 in the last 24 hours, taking the tally to 578. It is the biggest one-day jump in Omicron cases in India. The variant has now spread to 19 states and UTs. Delhi has reported 142 Omicron cases so far, the highest among all states and UTs, followed by Maharashtra (141).
