Bihar CM announces 126-km expansion of Marine Drive worth ₹70,000 cr

Bihar CM Samrat Choudhary on Sunday announced a major expansion of the state's Marine Drive project, proposing a 126-kilometre corridor along the Ganga from Koilwar on the Son River. The project is estimated to cost ₹70,000 crore, with ₹20,000 crore investment expected from the government and ₹50,000 crore from private entities. Currently, the Marine Drive spans about 21 kilometres.
