The state-run Nalanda Medical College and Hospital in Bihar's Patna was severely waterlogged after heavy rainfall in the city, with fish seen swimming in the ICU on Sunday. The doctors and hospital staff were forced to wade through dirty rainwater to treat the patients. Several attendees of the patients spent the night at the hospital standing in the waterlogged rooms.
