A 90-year-old man identified as Raj Narayan Thakur from Bihar's Muzaffarpur has alleged that his fifth son declared him dead on paper and sold part of ancestral property for ₹2 lakh. He further alleged his son is an alcoholic and has earlier sold several properties "under the influence of bad habits". District authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
