Bihar Police accepts AK-47 was fired during protests in Siwan, says constable got 'trapped'

Bihar Police have accepted that an AK-47 was fired during student protests in Siwan. It told the Supreme Court that a constable from the District Intelligence Unit (DIU) "had fired...four rounds from his AK-47 in the air" after he "got trapped in the crowd" of protesters. Notably, the constable's video of firing an AK-47 had gone viral on social media.
