Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced on Tuesday that the state government will construct marriage halls in all panchayats for daughters from poor families at ₹4,026 crore. The marriage halls will be built under the 'Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Mandap Scheme' and will be operated by 'Jivika Didis', CM Nitish stated. "It will greatly benefit economically weaker families," he added.
