Bihar to retire non-performing teachers above 50 yrs of age

Bihar government has decided to give compulsory retirement to non-performing teachers and education department officials above 50 years of age. CM Nitish Kumar ordered to set up a three-member committee to prepare a list of non-performing teachers. He blamed non-performing teachers for the state's worsening education system after students performed poorly in matriculation and intermediate exams.
