A woman in Bihar's Begusarai alleged that she was forced to lick sputum during a village panchayat after accusing her neighbour of rape. A video purportedly showing the alleged humiliation went viral on social media, following which police registered an FIR. The woman also alleged that police initially refused to file her complaint.
