In Nawada, Bihar, 35-year-old Kiran Devi was beaten to death after being accused of witchcraft by neighbours blaming her for a child’s illness. Two other women were seriously injured in the attack. Police have taken three suspects into custody and are investigating. A forensic team has collected evidence, and the body will be released after post-mortem.
