The losses of Bengaluru-based bike taxi startup Rapido grew fivefold to ₹53.29 crore in 2018-19 from ₹10.35 crore in the preceding financial year, as per regulatory filings. The startup's revenue grew 13 times to ₹10.65 crore in the year. The losses were driven by an almost sixfold rise in its total expenses to ₹63.93 crore during the period.
