Comedian-actor Bill Cosby has been ordered to pay $59.25 million to his accuser in a 1972 rape case. The accuser will receive $40 million in punitive damages, $17.5 million in past damages, $1.75 million for future damages, including "mental suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, grief, humiliation, and emotional distress."
