Cascade Investment, a holding company created by Microsoft Co-founder Bill Gates, has transferred securities worth over $3 billion to Melinda French Gates since the couple announced their divorce earlier this month. Cascade transferred stock in Deere & Co, Coca-Cola FEMSA and Grupo Televisa, among others. The Gates fortune is valued at about $145 billion, as per Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
