A bill proposing the reversal of a ban on doctor-assisted suicide in two Australian territories was introduced in the country's parliament on Monday. It seeks to legalise assisted suicide in the Northern Territory and Australian Capital Territory. In 1995, Northern Territory became world's first place to legalise voluntary euthanasia. The law was later overturned in 1997 by Australia's parliament.
