Cambodia announced extraditing billionaire businessman Chen Zhi, accused of masterminding a $15-billion cryptocurrency scam, to China. Zhi was among three Chinese nationals arrested on January 6, after a joint probe into transnational crime that lasted several months, Cambodia said. The US charged Zhi with running internet scams from Cambodia that it said had stolen billions in cryptocurrency.
