Billionaire F1 team owner prevents Aston Martin from going bankrupt for 8th time

A consortium led by billionaire Lawrence Stroll, who owns Racing Point F1 team, will invest $240 million in Aston Martin for a 16.7% stake. The cash infusion prevents the 107-year-old British car brand from going bankrupt for the eighth time. Stroll bought Vijay Mallya's Force India and renamed it Racing Point F1, which will now be renamed after Aston Martin.
