Adani Group's billionaire Chairman Gautam Adani has been charged in the US over alleged bribery and fraud. Gautam Adani, nephew Sagar Adani and others allegedly participated in a scheme that involved promising to pay more than $250 million in bribes to Indian government officials to secure solar energy contracts. Adani was charged with allegedly defrauding American investors and bribing officials.
