An investigation by Competition Commission of India (CCI) has found Tata Steel, JSW Steel, state-run SAIL and 25 other firms violated antitrust law by colluding on steel prices, Reuters reported, citing confidential documents. Moreover, the competition watchdog held billionaire Sajjan Jindal, Tata Steel CEO TV Narendran and 54 other top executives liable, the report added. The probe began in 2021.
