The European Space Agency revealed the first images from its Biomass satellite mission launched less than two months ago. Biomass' first image showcased a broad swath of northern Bolivia, the Amazon rainforest, tropical forest on islands in Indonesia, Gabon in Africa and vast Antarctic Transantarctic Mountains. The satellite aims to unlock new insights into Earth’s most extreme environments.
