Biometric sensor that measures veins and pulse waves developed

An ultrathin image sensor which measures fingerprints, veins and pulse waves has been developed by a company called Japan Display. The sensor is as thin as paper, light-weight and bendable. It makes use of both biometric signals(pulse waves) and biometric information(fingerprints and veins) and the company claims that it is well-suited to security applications and data-sensitive wearables.
