BioNTech has filed a lawsuit against Moderna in the Delaware federal court over patent infringement. The lawsuit stated that mNEXSPIKE, estimated to account for 55% of Moderna's COVID vaccine revenue, relies on technology developed and patented by BioNTech. In a statement, BioNTech said it sued to "protect its mRNA-based innovations that the company has pioneered and patented."
