A biopic on former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy is being made. It will star actor Arjun Sarja in the lead role. The film, titled 'Bhoomi Putra', is being directed by S Narayan and is being produced under the Chennambika Films banner. Notably, Kumaraswamy was Chief Minister of Karnataka from February 2006 to October 2007.
