Bitcoin surpassed the $15,000 mark on Thursday to hit a fresh all-time high, just 10 hours after crossing $14,000. Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market value, started below $1,000 at the start of 2017 and has risen over 1,400% this year. Bitcoin now accounts for over 63% of the cryptocurrency market and has a market value of over $250 billion.
