Bitcoin rallied more than 9% to cross $39,000 after Tesla CEO Elon Musk in a tweet said that his company may begin accepting Bitcoin as payment. "When there’s confirmation of reasonable (~50%) clean energy usage by miners with positive future trend, Tesla will resume allowing Bitcoin transactions," Musk tweeted. Earlier, Tesla stopped accepting Bitcoin citing its adverse effect on climate.
