Bittu Bajrangi, an accused in 2023 Nuh violence case, reached Aligarh on February 7 with a 'baraat' only to learn that he had been duped of ₹30,000. He called the woman he was supposed to marry, who told him she was unaware of this. The venue was deserted and the phones of accused who "arranged" the wedding were switched off.
