BJP denies ticket to Minister Vinod Tawde for Maha Assembly polls

In its fourth list of seven candidates, BJP has denied ticket to Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Vinod Tawde for the upcoming state Assembly elections. The party's six-term MLA and former revenue minister Eknath Khadse and former minister Prakash Mehta have also been denied the poll tickets. Meanwhile, Khadse's daughter Rohini has been named to contest from the Muktainagar constituency.
