The Uttarakhand Congress accused the BJP government of hiding the "VIP's" name that cropped up in the Ankita Bhandari murder case. "Police have been busy demolishing evidence...from day one under pressure from the BJP," said the Congress. The party further alleged that the police registered the missing person report in the case "very late" as it "involved a BJP leader".
