BJP leader from SC community, who worked in US, opposes SC/ST case against IIT professor

Ananthan Ayyasamy, a BJP leader from SC community, has opposed the case under SC/ST Act filed against IIT-Bombay professor Suryanarayana Doolla after a student died by alleged suicide. Ayyasamy, who studied at NIT and worked in US, said his Devendra Kula Vellalar community voluntarily decided not to file SC/ST Act cases as such cases are weaponised and deepen enmity.
