BJP leader RP Singh and lawyer HS Phoolka have written to Home Minister Amit Shah and PM Narendra Modi respectively calling for a 'Truth Commission' into the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. Phoolka alleged "enough evidence" shows riots "probably" took place "under instructions" from former PM Indira Gandhi. Singh sought the declassification of documents pertaining to Operation Blue Star and the riots.
