Vishal Soni, son of BJP leader from Madhya Pradesh, Mahesh Soni, allegedly faked his death to avoid paying off a ₹1.40 crore debt. Vishal's empty car was found in Kalisindh river, after which a rescue mission was launched to search for him. When Vishal wasn't found after eight days, police obtained Vishal’s call detail records and caught him in Maharashtra.
