NCP (SP) leader Clyde Crasto said tensions between Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis and Shiv Sena ministers indicate that BJP no longer needs Deputy CM Eknath Shinde. He said, "If Shinde has any self-respect...he should leave...alliance with BJP...If he doesn't...he will be shown door soon." His comments followed Shiv Sena ministers, barring Shinde, skipping Tuesday's cabinet meeting.
