Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav criticised BJP after authorities ordered the demolition of 38 buildings at Rampur's Mohammad Ali Jauhar University, founded by jailed Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan. "BJP sees communalism even in education," Akhilesh said, adding, "Teachers, students, and the jobs obtained after education aren't even on BJP's agenda." The university was established in 2006.
