After the Supreme Court cancelled the Gujarat government's orders granting remission to Bilkis Bano gangrape convicts, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin said that the verdict has brought solace. He further said, "Verdict is a ray of hope in the midst of darkness…The BJP hides the facts, misleads the court and tries to acquit the tyrants."
