The Bharatiya Janata Party's candidate from Uttar Pradesh's Unnao, Swami Sakshi Maharaj won from the constituency by a margin of 4,00,956 votes on Thursday. The Samajwadi Party had fielded Arun Shanker Shukla from the constituency. The BJP's Sakshi Maharaj had won the constituency in 2014 too with a margin of 3,10,173 votes.
