BJP candidate Suryabanshi Suraj has won the bypoll in the Dhamnagar constituency in Odisha's Bhadrak district. Suraj secured 80,351 votes against Biju Janata Dal's Abanti Das and won by a margin of 9,881 votes. The Dhamnagar seat fell vacant following the death of BJP MLA Bishnu Charan Sethi in September.
