French ride-sharing platform BlaBlaCar has received Series D round of $200 million led by Insight Venture Partners and Lead Edge Capital. Vostok New Ventures also participated in this round. At $1.6 billion valuation, this startup joins the growing list of unicorns in the world. The funding will be used to expand across emerging markets including India and Brazil.
