The number of black fungus or mucormycosis cases in Haryana has reached 398, of which Gurugram has the highest such cases at 147, said the health department. Hisar has 50 cases of the infection, followed by Faridabad (46), Sirsa (38), Rohtak (21) and Bhiwani (20). Recently, state Health Minister Anil Vij chaired a meeting of senior officials on managing mucormycosis.
