Canadian smartphone maker BlackBerry on Wednesday announced that the company will stop making its own phones and will outsource the hardware from partners. "We are focusing on software development, including security and applications," said BlackBerry's CEO John Chen. BlackBerry has posted a loss of $372 million in the latest quarter against $51 million profit registered a year ago.
