Billionaire Stephen Schwarzman's private equity firm Blackstone will acquire event software provider Cvent for $4.6 billion. This comes after an earlier deal of $3.9 billion was rejected by Cvent for being too low, Reuters reported. Founded in 1999 by Reggie Aggarwal, Cvent was acquired by Vista Equity Partners for $1.65 billion in 2016.
