A Blackstone-led consortium has emerged as the top bidder for a 20% stake in the snacks business of Haldiram's, Bloomberg reported. It could reportedly pay around $1.6 billion for the minority stake, valuing the business at about $8 billion. Blackstone is looking to partner with Singapore state investor GIC Pte and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority for the deal.
