Rail services across lower Assam and north Bengal were disrupted after suspected IED blast damaged railway tracks near Kokrajhar early Thursday, officials said. The explosion at around 1 am, tore apart three feet of track, halting several trains until repairs were completed by 5.25 am, they added. CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said police identified one suspect for his alleged involvement.
