Rati Ram Jatav, the father of a 28-year-old man who was allegedly lynched in Rajasthan's Alwar district last month, committed suicide by consuming pesticide, his family said. They said Jatav, who was blind, was depressed due to police inaction in the case. His son was allegedly assaulted by locals after he accidentally hit an elderly woman with his motorcycle.
