Blind pole-vaulter wins bronze in Texas

Blind pole-vaulter Charlotte Brown cleared 3.5 metres to win a bronze medal at the Texas state high-school championships after a 3-year struggle to get on the podium. On receiving a standing ovation from the crowd, Brown said that it was neither about pole-vaulting nor the track, but about finding something that makes you happy despite the obstacles along the way.
