An employee of Jack Dorsey-led firm, Block, claimed on X that he was laid off during a recent mass job cutting at the company due to "a clerical error". "They offered me the opportunity to return, and I've accepted," the employee added. Dorsey recently announced that Block will reduce its workforce by nearly half, resulting in around 4,000 job cuts.
