Canadian blogger Meghan Murphy has filed a lawsuit against Twitter after being permanently banned from the platform last year for her tweets against transgender people. Murphy was banned for violating Twitter's hateful conduct policy when she referenced a transgender woman as "him". Twitter had previously locked Murphy's account for tweeting, "Men aren't women" and "How are transwomen not men?".
