Bloom Energy jumps after AEP unit signs $2.65B fuel cell deal

Bloom Energy shares jumped over 10% after a unit of American Electric Power disclosed a $2.65 billion agreement to buy solid oxide fuel cells. Evercore ISI said the deal highlights strong demand and suggested volumes could exceed the initial 100 MW commitment, boosting confidence in Bloom Energy’s growth outlook.
